Each year, the Ohio Department of Education releases a state report card for districts and schools based on student performance on state tests and other measures. Columbus Gifted Academy is considered a special program rather than an independent school, so it does not receive a report card from the state. Rather, the test scores of students enrolled in the program return to their home schools. However, in an effort to be transparent with the public and as a means of reflection on program effectiveness, Columbus City Schools has generated a simulated report card for Columbus Gifted Academy. Except where otherwise noted, the calculations were based on the same data and using the same formulas as the state would use to generate the report card. This is not an official ODE report card, but it reflects the same information.  Click on the title of this article to access the downloadable report card. [...click for more]

It has come to our attention that some scholar profile forms were returned by the post office marked as undeliverable. We believe we have remedied the problem. If your scholar's form was returned to you, please send it again to the school at 100 W. 4th Ave., Columbus, OH 43201. The post office will be holding mail until the office opens in August. We apologize for the confusion! [...click for more]
