Parent Involvement

We have a large and active Parent Teacher Organization with the purpose of providing direct support to CGA.  Meetings are held the second Monday of the month at Columbus Gifted Academy at 6:30pm.  Visit their Facebook page under the name Columbus Gifted Academy at Beck Parents or their website at www.columbusgiftedacademy.com and sign up for their mailing list.

The district also has a gifted parent organization called Columbus PACE. This organization is an affiliate of the Ohio Association for Gifted Children, and they serve as an advocacy and parent education resource for parents of gifted students across the district.  They meet the third Thursday of the month at 6:30pm.  Location and topic varies by month.  For more information, visit www.columbuspace.org or visit their Facebook page.

Parents can find additional information about Gifted & Talented identification and services at the district's Gifted & Talented Division website.  Specific resources for families and students may also be viewed here
